Middle School Grades 6-8
Youth Group
Beginning each school year in mid-September and running through the end of March, we have a youth group on Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:00. We start with some wild and crazy games, then have large group worship, and lesson time. Finally, we break into small groups to go deeper and build relationships together.
Winter Retreat
In mid-January we see our students head up to Center Lake Bible Camp to enjoy some spiritual challenge, a great worship band, and lots of fun. We look forward to having a great time together worshiping God and learning how to serve Him better each year.
Believe Conference
“Believe Conference” is for students in 6th-8th grade. It occurs in the Spring and is a Friday to Saturday retreat held in the Holland area. This opportunity to worship with hundreds of other middle school students and hear a dynamic challenge from God’s word can be so much fun and very impacting.
Summer Bike Trip
Students having completed 6th, 7th, or 8th grades are invited to be a part of our week-long bike trip. This is an experience that RBC has been operating for over 32 years and we’re not done yet. Camping, lots of fun, biking, and great events surround a challenge each night aimed at growing our students spiritually. Relationships created and strengthened on this event are a hallmark of RBC.
High School
Youth Group
High School Youth Group operates on Sunday night from 5:00 – 6:30 from mid-September through the end of March. 9th through 12th grade students should find the atmosphere inviting and uplifting.
Hang Out Nights
High School Hang Out Nights run year round about every third Friday night at the Youth Pastor’s house and are open from 7p – 11p. This is an opportunity to have students gather on a Friday night for games, Mt Dew, and sometimes a movie. We hope to provide a place where high school students can gather, be themselves, and have fun in a safe environment.
Winter Retreat
Toward the end of February, we take our students up to Grace Adventures to enjoy some spiritual challenge, a great worship band, and lots of fun. We have a new theme each year to inform and inspire the students.
Summer Trip
Each summer there is a summer trip for high school students. We follow a 4 year plan of cycling through adventure/challenge to ministry/service trips.
