AWANA
AWANA is a Christ centered ministry for kids preschool through 5th grade. We work through scripture discussing topics relevant to your child’s life. We base our lessons on current situations, and give them a Biblical understanding on how to work through them. It is a fun, upbeat, and fast passed night, full of worship, games and connection.
Awana is held each year, September through March.
Sunday School
Our Preschool- 5th grade kids enjoy relevant teaching and meaningful worship as they gather together on Sunday mornings for Sunday school. Kids are challenged to look at how God is working in their lives, and how to best apply the weekly lesson in everyday situations they might face. Using The Gospel Project Curriculum, we are able to give kids weekly video and take home information, so that learning doesn’t just take place in our building but can expand past our walls and into their everyday life.
Children’s Church
RBC offers Children’s Church for ages 3-5. They are dismissed from the second worship service. The Children’s Church teacher will lead the children in songs, Bible Story and crafts.
Nursery
We offer a well-staffed nursery during both worship services. The nursery is available for all kids from birth through two years of age. Our nursery is divided into two parts: one room for infants/those not yet walking, and the other for toddlers who are walking.
Trips, Retreats, and Kids Camp
In addition to our weekly programming, we offer a number of trips and other opportunities throughout the year. These include conferences (such as SuperStart! held each spring for 4th and 5th graders), retreats, and our annual Kids Camp held each summer. Kids Camp is a three-day event that challenges our kids to grow deeper in their walks with Christ and in their relationships with one another.
Safety and Security
We value the safety and security of your kids! We require applications and background checks for all of our volunteers, and we have a sign-in and sign-out procedure for our programs that seeks to ensure that they are always accounted for.
